1) How does the author define a line?

 The author defines a line as an element of art that is a path of a moving point through space.

2) What is required to make a line?

 The width and length is required to make a line. Usually a line is two dimensional.

3) What is dimension?

 A dimension is the amount of space an object takes up in one direction.

4) List many ways that artists create line.

 Artist can create lines by:
- Drawing
- Scratched into wet clay 

5) Define an "outline" and an "implied" line.

 An outline is a line that shows or creates the outer edges of a shape. An implied line is a series of points that the viewers eyes automatically connect.
